Doesn't give me headaches like Gunnars did, and not as yellow as Gunnars either.

I have purchased several computer glasses to try to decide how to help protect my eyes as well as reduce eye strain and headaches. I first purchased Gunnar Sheadogs and PPGs, and tried both. I found that each SLIGHTLY magnified/distorted things to give me a raging headache after 30 minutes of use. It actually GAVE me headaches rather than prevent them. I had my optician take a look, and his best guess is that the headaches could be due to the curve of the lenses. On that same note, I must say that I noticed no less eye dryness wearing each either.I then tried Spektrum. They are not quite as yellow, which makes sense, since Gunnars are supposed to be over 60% blocking, where these are 50%. So maybe they don't block quite as much light, though they do make a pair that does, but it's too yellow for my liking. However, I have no headaches with Spektrums. So I have decided to sacrifice less blue-light blocking in lieu of a pair of glasses that does not give me headaches. I'm concerned for the long-term use of Gunnars. I found wearing Gunnars gave me eye strain and headaches, where Gunnars feel slightly soothing. I guess I wish there was a middle-ground between these, and the better blocking glasses. If I could get these in like 65%, that'd be idea. But oh well, better than nothing, and feels just fine.

Works great to block blue and UVA/UVB light

These turn computer screens a slight yellowish tint which means it does block some of the blue light. Also it blocks UVA light. Tested with a black light bulb and material that glows under a black light. Turned on the black light and the glowy stuff near it stopped glowing when I put the glasses in between. This means it blocks 100% of UVA light since that's what black lights output. UVB I have no clue on as I don't have a UVB source to test with nor do I want one since it causes skin cancer. I'll just take their word for it.Finally these are stylish. Co-workers have complimented me on the look of these glasses.

A+ Customer Service

I can't express how impressed I am with the customer service I got with these glasses. I was so excited to try them on and... I looked ridiculous. I failed to take into account the size of the glasses and have a slightly narrow face (I guess). They looked enormous. I contacted customer support and they immediately recommended styles that are smaller and might fit better. When I asked to exchange them for this narrower style (Arctic, if you're wondering), they told me not to send the others back. They immediately sent out new glasses. They are still a bit wide, but MUCH better. I can wear them at work without being embarrassed. I have never worn glasses in my life and usually find them to be uncomfortably and awkwardly in my line of sight, but these look sleek and are quite comfortable.I bought these because I'm willing to try pretty much anything to help get rid of my terrible migraines. They don't have a visible yellow tint, which was important to me, but they make a huge difference with the screen. When I take them off the screen seems so blue I wonder why I never noticed that before! It will be quite a while before I'm able to tell if this helps my migraines and eye strain, but for the product, price, and awesome customer service it's certainly worth the price.

UPDATED REVIEW: I am now currently using the new glasses that I was sent thanks to their team to replace the old ones that gave me a headache and so far it is good!!! No headaches anymore and I do still get a very short eye strain here/there (probably from the constant use of being at computer) but it was nowhere long as it was with the previous glasses that I had so I am assuming I got a defective set of glasses? Customer service was very quick to address my issues and their service is absolutely 100% ++++!!! Fit is perfect for those who have issues with their glasses slipping down a lot. Overall these glasses met my needs and I am very happy with the customer service/new product that was sent to me!!!

Life is much better with these glasses!

These glasses work! I am an RN and take 12-16 patient calls a day and look at a computer screen reviewing charts, responding to e-mails and documenting calls for about 11 hours a day. My eyes were really red after a few hours on the computer, they would burn and sting. I also had dry eyes, difficulty falling asleep, tension headaches and migraines. Wearing these glasses has eliminated most of these things. The migraines are controlled for the most part but no longer caused by the bright office lights and computer screen. My sleep is better too, but I still struggle to fall asleep if I don't allow proper time to unwind before bed, "sleep hygiene" tactics help with that too. I got tear duct plugs that also helped with the dry eyes. It's been almost two years and I can say I really notice the difference on days when I don't have these glasses with me. The fact that they are light weight really helps too! If you are wearing these all day as I do, it is a welcomed relief, not having heavy frames on my face. Keep a microfiber cloth handy to clean the lenses for the best experience. I highly recommend these glasses! Try them if you have the symptoms I did, you won't regret it.
